Job Description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer, Notetaker based in United States. This role offers the opportunity to shape the core features and architecture behind an AI-powered meeting notetaking and recap product used by millions of people. You will work on a modern, service-oriented platform that is rapidly scaling its usage and user base while maintaining a high standard of product quality. The position combines full-stack development, system design, platform scalability, automation, and hands-on ownership of critical product capabilities. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and fellow engineers to turn evolving requirements into reliable, scalable experiences. The environment encourages technical growth, experimentation, cross-squad collaboration, and continuous improvement of engineering practices. You will also contribute to architectural decisions, code quality, operational excellence, and the development of other engineers through mentorship. This is a remote U. S. opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and building products at significant scale. Accountabilities: - Collaborate with the engineering team to design and deliver new features that expand the capabilities of the AI notetaking platform and support additional user types. - Contribute to platform scaling initiatives, helping ensure services and architecture can support significant growth in usage while maintaining reliability and performance. - Work closely with Product and Design teams to refine requirements, evaluate technical approaches, and translate product needs into effective engineering solutions. - Participate in agile ceremonies and team planning activities, helping prioritize work, identify dependencies, and drive initiatives through successful completion.

- Collaborate across engineering squads to improve development practices, technical standards, tooling, and overall engineering effectiveness. - Review technical implementation plans and pull requests, providing thoughtful feedback that improves code quality, maintainability, and system design. - Build tooling and automation that improves delivery processes and supports a more service-oriented engineering environment. - Mentor and coach other engineers, contributing to technical development and helping strengthen the capabilities of the broader team. - Take ownership of features throughout their full lifecycle, from technical discovery and implementation through testing, release, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance. - Participate in an on-call rotation and respond promptly and effectively to business-critical alerts outside regular working hours. Requirements - Bring 7+ years of professional software development experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company. - Have professional experience with Node. js and TypeScript, with experience using React or a comparable modern UI framework being highly desirable. - Demonstrate hands-on experience with service-oriented architectures, microservices, and significant product or platform scaling initiatives. - Possess strong system design and software engineering skills, with the ability to make sound architectural decisions in complex and evolving environments. - Demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies, changing requirements, and evolving organizational priorities. - Have a proven track record of owning software features end-to-end, including technical discovery, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing operational support. - Be comfortable using AI coding assistants such as Copilot or Cursor as productivity tools while maintaining a clear understanding of generated code and being able to explain and defend implementation decisions.
