Instructional Designer

Location: Remote

Duration: 06 months Contract on W2

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with 7+ years of corporate instructional design experience to design effective learning solutions and learning journeys. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, performance consulting, and the ADDIE framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct learning needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
• Design end-to-end learning journeys and enterprise learning programs.
• Develop engaging e-learning, blended learning, and instructor-led training solutions.
• Apply ADDIE, adult learning, and Learning Experience Design (LXD) methodologies.
• Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
• Facilitate discussions, gather requirements, and manage multiple learning projects.
• Modernize learning content and improve learner engagement and training effectiveness.
• Manage projects from intake through design, development, implementation, and evaluation.

Must Have Skills:

• 7+ years of Instructional Design experience in a corporate learning environment.
• Strong adult learning theory, ADDIE, and instructional design expertise.
• Experience conducting needs assessments and performance consulting .
• Strong experience designing learning journeys, e-learning, and blended learning solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, and consulting skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Learning Experience Design (LXD) experience.
• Sales enablement, operational training, or safety-focused learning experience.
• Strong visual design and content modernization skills.
• Experience improving learner engagement and training effectiveness.
