Job Description

A Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering items throughout the Bronx and nearby areas in a timely, careful manner. Typical duties include reviewing delivery instructions, loading and securing packages, planning efficient routes, obtaining proof of delivery when required, and communicating delays or address issues as they arise. The role may also involve basic vehicle or equipment checks before and after trips and handling items with care to avoid damage. Basic qualifications usually include a valid driver’s license when driving is required, a reliable work history, strong time management, and the ability to follow directions accurately. Good customer service skills and familiarity with city streets are often helpful. This work can involve walking, climbing stairs, lifting moderate packages, and spending extended periods on the move. The schedule is part time, and hours may vary based on delivery volume and route needs.
